Hi, I'm Shirazeh
(she-rah-zay)

how i work
who i see
For individual therapy, I work with folks who are exploring their family, relationship, and friendship dynamics, unpacking attachment styles/wounds, navigating trauma, experiencing life transitions, understanding shame, exploring their identity, strengthening their self-esteem, and those curious about how their lived experiences impact who they are and how they engage with the world.
For partner work, my focus is to improve communication, deepen and expand connection, process and navigate life transitions, and more. My space is welcome for multiple partners (poly & ethical non-monogamy folks).
For family work, I work with blended families navigating parenting challenges, shifting family roles, co-parenting dynamics, and transitions such as divorce/separation, remarriage, or restructuring the household.
I practice from the core belief that you are the expert of your own lived experience. I trust your insight, honor your wisdom, and approach therapy as a collaborative process where we work together. I approach therapy with a direct and curious lens.

My work is holistic and integrative, drawing from attachment-based, emotion-focused, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approaches. I hold therapy within a social justice–oriented, feminist, intersectional, and systemic framework, recognizing that your identity and experiences are shaped not only by personal history but also by the cultural, political, and relational systems you live within.
I see you as a whole person who is shaped by your relationships, your resilience, your wounds, and the broader world around you.

we may be a
good fit if…
You’re looking for someone direct, laid-back, and real. I want to foster genuine relationships with my clients - that means I’ll provide support (when you need it!) and challenge you (when you need that too!). I try to make my therapy room feel cozy and comfortable (with pillows, blankets, tea, snacks, fidgets, coloring supplies, etc.). You’ll typically find me sitting criss-cross in comfortable clothing with a coffee in hand. I value your experience, wisdom, and needs, and take that all into account when helping you navigate the things that brought you to therapy in the first place!
about me
(outside of the therapy room)

When I’m not in sessions, you can find me hanging with my dogs (1 mixed breed & 1 border collie), partner, friends, and family. I love going on adventures (hikes, road trips, travel, etc.), getting my body moving (gym, dance classes, boxing, etc.), and listening to copious amounts of audiobooks while I cook elaborate meals.

I am a huge proponent of therapy (obviously) and have been with my therapist for 3+ years. Just like you, I am human and struggle, and understand the power of having a good therapist on your side. I feel very lucky to be in this field and meet so many cool and complex humans, and I hope to help my clients find whatever they’re searching for.
